Los Gatos Defeats Gunn
Teresa Skelly had 7 kills, Julia Maggioncalda had 6 and Allison Doerpinghaus had 5, but Gunn could not overcome Los Gatos' steady defense and balanced offense as the Wildcats prevailed, 25-18, 25-19, 25-12.
Shelly Kousnetz had 20 assists on the night for the Titans.
Gunn made very few errors on the night against a tough serving Los Gatos team, and played with good energy. Los Gatos won most of the long rallies on the night with their steady defense as they continued to keep balls in play and eventually they overwhelmed Gunn's team defense in transition.
Gunn is now 0-11 in league and 17-21 overall.
The Titans conclude their SCVAL season at home on Thursday against Mountain View.
It is also Senior Night at the gym, as Teresa Skelly, Shelly Kousnetz, Nicole Hemenway, and Erika Hoopes will play their last match at Robert A. Bow Gymnasium. Come and support the team!
